Kitchen could be better equipped, scissors,mugs mixing bowl etc and a more stable laundry dryer for the balcony- fell over when slightly windy

The shower was a bit too small.

No ac but honestly didn’t need (September) windows alone were enough. Has ceiling fan but need to have the lights on. No instructions for Wi-Fi in flat, we didn’t have internet to check online.

We complained to the property owner regarding cleanliness and cockroaches snacking on our sweats. His response was that we can call Booking.com and leave if we don't like it and he'll reimburse us for the remaining 3 days of our 4 days stay. And so, who likes cockroaches? We chose to leave. Booking.com support line told us there was a possibility that he would not agree to let us leave without retaining a cancellation fee and the call support told us that if that will be the case, considering the situation, that Booking.com will make it up to us with some possible reimbursement. Of course, he did not allow us to leave without the retaining the cancellation fee, although this was his proposal. We did not explicitly ask to leave! Instead of an apology he was very rude tu us and told us to pack and leave in 30min. We found ourselves walking on the streets with our luggage after us at 11PM looking for accomodation and in the end I've spend 1 night hunting cockroaches during my vacation, hours calling Booking.com several times for support in which every time I need to re-explain my situation for 10-15min, for an added cost of about 120Euros in international calls during roaming, because the English support line is in UK and my internationall calls plan only covered EU. On top of this I also lost the cancellation fee of about 54Euros that the property owner retained without any right and all that Booking.com is able to do is compensate me for less than 25Euros. When I tried to leave this review 1 day later, I found out that the owner has blocked the review invitation and I had to call Booking.com again to see of they can unblock it. My friendly advise is to avoid this place at all cost and because Booking.com is not able to do much about it, I also lost confidence in the platform. Very frustrating and disappointing... :-( PS: In reply to the property owner's response: Please stop with the lies! Take some responsibility, this is unacceptable and unhealthy!
