The host is very attentive and accommodating.
Good location for exploring the island; points of interest are relatively near.
The studio is cozy with good storage space and a well-equipped kitchen.
Good value considering the location and amenities provided.
Overall, a very positive experience with some minor issues.
Well-equipped kitchen, but some basic kitchen tools are missing, like bowls.

“Lanzarote is a Canarian pearl”
We rented the studio for the second time so we knew all the facilities and how to get there. It's really good for a couple who wants to have a simple calm auberge (with a small patio) to explore the island -- definitely one needs a car to stay there. The host is very friendly and responsive. Free parking is available at the entrance. Tahiche is a strategical point to go to every corner of the island and it's close to the capital Arrecife (10 min drive to: Mercadona supermarket, shopping, walking, clubbing, etc) and to the airport (20 min drive), which may be important for those departing early in the morning. The only very simple resto Maria closes at 4pm as well as a few cafes, so consider to have dinner somewhere e.g. Arrieta: Bar El Pisquito, restaurant Al Amanecer, Resto de la plage // La Hoya: Resto Mirador del salinas // Orzola: Resto Mirador el Roque // El Golfo: El CAleton // Arrecife: Strava, Barbacone.
It's not what we didn't like but just a warning (we stayed there in December): be well prepared for a strong wind and possible rain, especially if you like hiking in lava fields, volcanoes and along the coastline. In a rainy day it's worth to visit museums by Cesar Manrique and the capital Arrecife.

“An excellent stay in the wild paradise of Lanzarote”
Very good location to explore all the island with a car. Calm and beatiful place close to a big volcan, now retired. A small very simple appartment (studio) is perfect for two person stay, it's separated and isolated with a small patio which saves you from the canarian winds and provides enough sun if you need it. Studio is well equipped without a luxury. The host, Yassel, was very attentive and friendly, provided us with a lot of information which we found very important and useful (and with a bottle of spanish brut on arrival). He also was always online for all our questions. We appreciate very much his hospitality. The village has a small supermercado and a few bars/restaurants (most of which are closing at 4pm -- it's usual in Lanzarote). The main road Arrecife-Orzola is just a hundred meters from the appartment, however, we never heard any noise. And this is very convinient for driving in any direction with a minimal loss of time. If sometimes you have a dinner at home and need to buy some fish or meat, there is a big supermarket Mercadona in Arecife (15-20 min from Tahiche), which rather often can be on your back route. We were mostly buying fish and seafood -- fresh, cheap, and of excellent quality -- and a fantastic spanish hamon. Also, a good selection of wines. Fruits, vegetables, etc. But local restaurants will serve you a real canarian food -- it's delicious! Your hosts will give you several addresses I believe. In December it's 20+ and typically sunny, however, one needs to have good clothes to survive in the wind which never stops. Nevertheless, one can swim in many places, especially on the south, like Popagaya beach, or on Gracioza island (which is on the nord). If you like walking/hiking in the wild nature, through the lava fields, between volcanoes and the ocean, Lanzarote is a paradise for you.
In December days are quite short, the darkness starts around 7pm. So, wake up early...
