“Extremely disappointing – we were scammed and left without accommodation”

Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy anything about the stay, as we were never received nor contacted by the host. From the moment we arrived, we faced a situation of complete uncertainty and lack of communication. We tried to reach the host through various means, but there was no response at all. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially because we had paid in advance with no refund option. There was a total absence of customer service, and what was even more concerning is that a local resident informed us that we were not the first tourists to be scammed at this property. This situation not only ruined our experience as travelers but also raises serious concerns about the reliability of listings posted on the platform.

To be improved

We were scammed. We made a non-refundable payment for a property where no one ever welcomed us. The host never answered the phone or responded to any messages. A local woman told us that other tourists had previously been deceived in the same way. We received no assistance or communication whatsoever, and we were left stranded with no accommodation after having paid in full.
