I was unpleasantly surprised, that there wasnt even one tea or coffee available in the morning. Rushing to the shop is not my favorite activity first time in the morning when i prefer to relax on my holidays.

“Not what we expected”

Booked this hotel as a last of our holiday treat. The idea of the roof pool and bar overlooking the city was the seeming point- except the pool was full of noisy children and the bar was closed for a private event. The event also kept us awake until very late as you could hear the noise from our room.

To be improved

It was disappointing to provide feedback to the hotel only to be given information that contradicted with the reality of our experience. The bar staff advised us the bar was closed and no drinks would be served- the management said this wasn’t the case. The issue with the children’s behavior in the pool was also stated to be a delicate subject- but staff should be responsible for ensuring that the rules by the pool are followed. Found it strange that no food and drink can be consumed by the pool unless purchased the hotel- but there is no pool bar open on the day. So if you want a drink you have to go and sit in your room.

“Good Apt in town-center. Easy check in. Breakfast not worth the price (better to pay if needed)”

Right in the center of town, theres a underground parking (APK2 Plaza de Arenal) for 8€ a day right next to it. Check In/Out was super easy with the online check in, you just go in and have your door code. The pool is nice and cozy on the rooftop, good service with towels included. the rooftop bar opens for the breakfast and after 6pm for the bar and has a nice flair to relax. Room is small, but fine. kitchen has everything needed, AC is working fine (no remote control though, can only be set by the entrance door)

To be improved

The included breakfast is a waste of money: you order from a small menu and get the cheapest sausages, ham, bread or even the pre-made eggs you can find in mercadona. even fruit like avocado was tough to eat since they clearly store them super-cold to keep longer, therefore loses all flavour. IF you really want, pay the breakfast when you want in person, its cheaper than booking it in advance included. for the room: TV couldnt handle its own Netflix/Prime apps and froze. No space or spots to hang towels (which you get for the pool). No remote control for the AC. Pool could do with some more shadow, you basically are laying in the boiling heat all day since there is no shades for the beach loungers.

“It felt like a Brand new Hotel, had all the latest and small touches to make it feel extremely homely and modern. Perfect for families. An excellent location and pool area. Very easy to reserve and access the property. The staff were helpful to arrange the car park at EUR for 24 hrs. Would definitely stay here again.”
