Spacious rooms, large opening window

To be improved

We were very pleased to see that the restaurant and bar have reopened, however, still not open on Sundays. Food is available at the hotel cafe/bar almost next door opposite petrol station (turn right at gate, down road 50 metres, then up the grassy bank).

“The man on reception, and Sunday breakfast, Alredo ( ? ) was excellent. So welcoming and with a real attention to detail. A very capable and genuine person. I cannot praise him enough. · Cons: The Saturday lunch experience stopped me awarding you a 10. HUGE sign advertising MENU but arriving at 2pm on Saturday no menu available. Only la carta. No one welcoming diners and sat there for 10 mins before anyone came to serve me. Seemed understaffed and poorly managed. There was a large group having lunch- no problem as long as you have extra staff. Hotel great but not restaurant Why advertise something so prominently then fail to deliver??”

“All around happy”
The best

For the money it couldn't actually have been better, I am super picky, especially for quietness, cleanliness and comfort, and I don't write many reviews so this actually counts for something I hope. Great air-conditioning also from Samsung. One caveat, we were only there for a night, because we were traveling through, but still.

To be improved

The toilet sometimes didn't stop flushing but I don't think this is something that happens in other rooms and it will probably be fixed quickly.

The best

Location. Professional, friendly staff, particularly Alvaro at reception provided excellent information about the hotel and surrounding area. Excellent Wi-Fi and plenty of free parking. Good value. Unfortunately, many of the hotels in Spain have started to charge for parking.

To be improved

The restaurant. I don’t know if it is part of the hotel or not. The food was reasonable but someone needs to carry out some staff training. We ordered a salad to share for a starter and then two main dishes. Everything arrived at the same time. On a better note, the wine that was recommended was excellent.
