“A beautiful hotel”
A beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. We loved our stayed here apart from the reception staff who were not particularly friendly, welcoming or helpful which is surprising given this is a 5* hotel. The bar staff though were very friendly and charming. Our room was beautifully decorated and the very quiet. Very comfortable bed and nice clean and modern bathroom. Coffee machine and mini bar available in the room. There is inside parking but if you have a big car like us the spaces are very tight so might be easier to park just up the road at the public car park. But it was very useful to be able to park at the hotel. Cocktails and bar snacks were delicious in the beautiful lobby bar. The room wasn't cheap at over €200 for the night but it was worth the money. The one thing we did find quite frustrating is that there is an additional €90 charge for dogs per night!! We knew this in advance so it wasn't a surprise but this definitely makes the hotel quite expensive. We stayed at 3 other hotels on our way to Toledo and this was by far the most expensive charge for dogs. There is a small gym which I made use of with bike, crosstrainer and treadmill and some dumbbells so perfectly functional- but no bench to workout on! Spa pool is also very nice. I would definitely stay here again but without my dogs!
“Two night stay”
My wife and I stayed recently. A lovely hotel in the old town. A beautiful room with a large bathroom with shower, free standing bath and his and hers basins. There is a coffee machine in the room and a complementary bottle of water. The bar / lounge area is large and pleasant. We did not eat at the hotel.
“Lovely stay— definitely recommend”
We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were all very nice. Public areas were lovely (both for a meal and for when we had a little extra time). Breakfast was good. We were a family of four and just booked two rooms (one king, one two twins) and the hotel gave us connecting rooms behind a common door so they essentially converted into a suite. Thought the location was good as well— on a quiet street between the cathedral and the Jewish Quarter. Would definitely return.
“A superb hotel on a beautiful city”
This is one special hotel. Stayed for 2 nights & were well impressed with the location, our room, the staff & the beautiful bar & dining area. Room was superb. We were upgraded to a superior room (103) which was one room of 3 of the presidential suite. Fantastic big bed, powerful shower & nice double sink. Bar is very nice. We even managed to eat off the restaurant menu in the bar & shared a main. Delicious wine & all very reasonably priced for a 5* hotel! The only negative was that the poor barman was having to serve the restaurant at the same time & was absolutely run off his feet with no support. He was a real star though. Breakfast was different & really good. A 3 tier stand of goodies was presented plus you could choose eggs & pancakes to be cooked to order. And if you were in the mood, you could start the day with a nice glass of chilled cava. The location is superb, just minutes from the cathedral area where there are lots of nice shops & tapas bars. We drove into Toledo & were dreading it but the hotel’s advance instructions were so clear that it was a doddle. €19 a night which was very reasonable. Would highly recommend this hotel & Toledo for a visit. Both very very nice.
“Huge Presidential Suite in the Center of Toledo”
The hotel is quite unremarkable from the outside, but is very well located-just a short walk to the cathedral. Inside the hotel is beautiful and comfortable with a very nice lobby and bar area. We had one of the presidential suites which was huge-2 rooms: spacious bedroom and a large living room (that was somewhat sparsely furnished for its size). Our windows looked out over Toledo and the surrounding countryside-beautiful views, surprising, given that we were in the center of the old town. If arriving by car (down narrow streets, but still manageable in an SUV), reserve parking in the hotel garage.
“Good Toledo Hotel”
Very good hotel in the central part of Toledo, within a short walk of the cathedral and all the sights. Good breakfast and comfortable rooms.
