Breakfast starts at 8:00am at the weekend. This is far too late , we missed it on our last day as we had to leave the hotel at 7:45am to go to airport. It is also extremely noisy outside the front of the hotel. Across the road there is a very busy bar where people sit outside until 1:00am and they shout and sing. However to make matters worse about 100m away is a nightclub which seems to be open until the early hours. Hundreds of people leave it at between 4:00am and 6:00am and they stand around on the pavement shouting and singing. Madrid is a busy city which we accept but it was impossible to get any meaningful sleep, especially as we had to wake early one morning for a tour and another early start to get a return flight. We cannot recommend this hotel unless you intend going clubbing into the early hours of the morning.

Unfortunately during our stay there was a big water leak through the ceiling right outside the door. The double doors onto the balcony also didn’t lock properly

Everything was good.

I would have appreciated more attention to detail from the housekeeping staff. I found a melted chocolate bar left in the minibar from a previous guest, which suggests it hadn’t been checked properly. In the bathroom, the shampoo dispenser was broken and couldn’t be used. Lastly, although the hotel is well-connected, it's not located in the city center, so walking to the main attractions wasn’t always easy or convenient by foot.
