“this hotel is amazing!!! it was comfortable, welcoming and clean. i liked that it was both modern and classic. the views are breathtaking and breakfast is delicious. we enjoyed walking to the beach and the city center. the workers at the reception and the employee who brought us something to the room — everyone was very friendly and made us feel at ease. · Cons: at breakfast you couldn’t choose a table, the staff chose it for you: i feel like they didn’t clean tables fast enough on purpose, just so they could leave them for someone else. it was not nice.”

“The grand dame of Santander”
The best

I would prefer to give this a 4.5 rating . The hotel is a fine grand dame of the area. A lovely old style hotel with furnishings and fittings to match . A stunning terrace overlooking the bay which was a delight to sit on while having a drink or some of the hotels excellent food ( a great club sandwich) . All the staff were so friendly and helpful with a special mention to Almudena at the front desk who was a delight to deal with. The nightly turndown service was a bit hit and miss , some nights nothing and others just leaving chocolates on the bed but doing nothing else ! . Having visited a number of the hotels in the area , I would highly recommend the Real .

Stunning hotel, very impressed and hoping to visit again one day. Lovely room overlooking the bay. Breakfast was good with an excellent choice of food.
