“Room was comfortable, bathroom was luxurious, and the location was excellent. · Cons: I felt the room was designed for a pilgrim in that it had a twin bed, a single towel, etc. However, the price wasn’t very pilgrim friendly. Still, I enjoyed the stay!”

The hotel was in a good setting. My room was modern and spacious. There were far reaching views from the outside terrace at the rear of the hotel. We were able to easily walk to everything we needed. . The car park was at the rear of the property and was very secure behind a tall stone wall and a large locked gate. There was a good selection of products for breakfast

To be improved

Whilst the car park was very secure, it was at a much lower level than the hotel and there was no lift - only several flights of exterior steps. It is much better to unload your luggage at the front of the hotel, then move your car/motorbike to the car park afterwards.

“A beautiful and relaxing stop in historic Astorga”

We stayed at Eurostars Vía de la Plata – a beautiful hotel located in a historic building that was once the Convent of San Francisco. After hours of walking the Camino in unusually hot weather, the massage felt like a true blessing. Everything was spotless, stylish, and very welcoming. A perfect place to rest and recharge.
