“Nice rooms but lacking essentals”

This is labeled a 4 star hotel but it has some major flaws, some unforgivable - like their wifi not working, or no air conditioning when it was 24 C outside. Only the heating system worked. The internet looked like it allowed you to connect, but no wifi, and if you need wifi to plan, or book things, it's crippling. Other than that, it is a very nice room,bed comfortable, no USB ports by bed,had to unplug the lamp to plug in phones. It it literally in/ above the train station, so there is noise, but nog so bad. Bath is huge, but shower spray gets on the floor, creating a hazard. We expected more from 4stars and the price. I will try not to stay at Eurostar again.

“Large room, comfy bed, big bathroom, easy access to the city. Nice breakfast, but cost extra. · Cons: The hotel is literally inside the train station so is noisy at night with trains, the tannoy and a constant beeping sound. Would have preferred a shower, rather than a shower head in the bath”

“Good value, comfortable room and good breakfast.”

The best

Clean room and spacious. Breakfast had good variety of hot and cold offerings. Air conditioning was welcomed because we hit a spell of hot weather.

To be improved

We stayed only two nights so the convenience of being at the train station was strategic. However, getting to and from the town center by bus took more time each day.
