it took a bit to find the door to the building; it was not accessible by car.

There was building work around the property next door which was noisy at times although we were out exploring all day and so no real impact overall

only 2 wine glasses provided one of which was cracked so we replaced and left that, one tea towel, one set of bedding (on the bed) and one set of towels (in bathroom) for 2 people for 12 days no spares, one kitchen roll, toilet paper which we had to replace, no kitchen basics ie oil vinegar etc, the bedroom shelf on one side of the bed was taped to the wall really?? , clearly at some point had been knocked by a previous occupant but really was not a good look for a property that cost us a significant amount of money to rent, local information guides where to go, eat etc would have been helpful, pleasant stay but could have been made so much better by a little more thought to customer focus, at one point we were locked out of the apartment by the digital front door lock and had to ring a madrid number and wait an hour to get back in!

Although the view of the sea was amazing, the view from the balcony was quite run down but this may be due to improvements taking place

Please explain clearly on the Booking.com page your policy of collecting a deposit. I thought the deposit would be handled by Booking.com, but it was actually done through an external portal called Swikly. In the end there was no problem with this, it is a secure platform. But it's better to let people know in advance, not a week before the arrival.
