“The location is great, the central terrace is fantastic. The staff were lovely and it was very clean · Cons: We had some bad luck which was exasperated by a lack of maintenance. It was 38dgrees and the air-conditioning in the whole hotele stopped working. This is the bad luck. While they waited for the repair, they gave us fans- which we a tad crooked and made a horrible racket. Then, the shower which is one of those where you adjust the temperature to set temperature (50, 38, 20) was broken and wouldn't go under 38degrees. So we couldn't even have a cold shower. But even if you ignore the above, the bathrooms in the rooms were a dissappointment. Sometime in the past, they installed glass boxes for toilets and showers. Which leave absolutely nothing to surprise- no privacy at all. They need to be replaced.”

Nice hotel in a wonderful traditional building. Room quite large and very clean and very comfortable for my 5 night stay. Great location very close to the cathedral and Calle Mayor

“Very pleasant, great value, great location for the airport and lovely town”

The best

The room was modern. The courtyard was quiet and pleasant. Location is great right on the edge of the old town. There was an arming available for a fee. The staff were very friendly and gave good advice on where to eat etc. the town was surprisingly interesting, well we were surprised. We only booked there to be close to the Madrid airport on our last night. The university, the old town etc are awesome and the town really exploded into life come Saturday evening. The streets were packed with locals. Great spot to stay if you have a rental car and a flight to catch. 20 to 30 minutes drive to the Airport.

To be improved

The room was very nice but very small. For one night we did not mind but a longer stay might be awkward for 2 people and 2 suitcases. They may have larger rooms.
