“Nice appartement but full of mould”

Nice appartment… but… Location is perfect! And even a place to keep your bike if you rent one

To be improved

Nice apartment and the location is perfect! BUT when you enter you are welcomed with a nasty smell and there NO sunlight because of the surrounding buildings. The patio is surroundedwith walls and also smells very bad so you don’t even want to be there. Most of the rotting/mouldy smell is comming from the airco, which is bad for your health but if you don’t use it, it will get too hot. The smell from the shower drain is also bad.. I think its connected to the sewer. Because of the high humidity and no fresh air there are mould stains eveywhere on the walls and ceiling. Don’t know if and how the host can fix this due to the surrounding buildings but me and my friend left with a sore throat. Even our clothes are smelling like mould. Too bad because otherwise this is a perfect appartment for (long)stay.

The toilet and bedroom are directly connected, which is not nice if you plan on staying with work colleagues...

“One of the most beautiful cities to explore on foot and public transport was excellent, if required.”
The best

The location was excellent in the centre of old town. Walking distance to practically everything. Cafes and supermarket two mins walk from apartment. Very safe area for exploring. The apartment we got was different to the one shown online as it did not have outdoor seating space but we think the one we got was nicer as it was to front of building so we got plenty light into one of the bedrooms.

To be improved

The bathroom was in one of the bedrooms with a glass partition. Not suitable for friends sharing. Bathroom offers no privacy.
