Good location of the apartment in the center near the train station. Silence at night, because the bedroom windows overlook the interior terrace.

To be improved

We waited for the keys for half an hour at the door, despite the arrival time given. The apartment was very dirty, I travel very often and I have never seen such filth. Smelly fridge and oven, piles of dust under the beds, even on the coffee table in the living room. We looked at the fan in the bathroom with disgust, it was so dirty. I sent photos to the owner by text message, unfortunately no response.

“Loved it and would definitely stay there again!”

The best

The property is clean, spacious and excellently located in a building with a doorman and double doors so it felt quite safe staying there. It is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and everything that you may need. We were a large group of 5 female colleagues doing field research in Madrid and stayed there for 10 days. The host left ample supply of toilet paper, napkins and paper towels, cleaning supplies, washing detergent, dishwasher tablets, zip lock bags, cling foil, shampoo and shower gel. There were enough dishes, cups and kitchenware. The wi-fi was super speedy though limited in range. WE really found the place comfortable and close to various eateries, cafes, stores, parks and museums. It's steps away from Madrid's largest train station. We loved the privacy that the place provides with 5 separate bedrooms. The host was very kind and allowed us early check-in for a small fee, which we appreciated very much given that our plane landed in the morning so we were able to enter the property as soon as we arrived. She was very responsive. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the place.

The neighbors could be noisy sometimes. The other bathroom had a very low water pressure that it was hard to take a shower sometimes. The frying pans need to be renewed as they are supposed to be non-stick but are all scratched. The wi-fi signal does not reach the first bedroom (next to the kitchen) due to the apartment's layout so a wi-fi extender would be a plus. Luckily, I (who was staying in that room) had a good international mobile data plan so I did not really mind but it could be an issue for someone.
