“Ok for one night”

The best

We wanted to experience one night in a boat, especially for the kids to have an idea of what it is like. And the objective was reached. We were not looking for fancy furniture nor luxury. Being in the harbour means you are in the city center of Gijon and this was a real plus as we only spent there 24h. The night was calm and the morning scented sea and heard seagulls voices.

To be improved

Unfortunately, it was not mentioned that the toilet is really a basic one (a tank) and thus you only need to use it for emergencies and you cannot do "the big thing" in there. You need to use the toilet of a nearby bar outside the pier (which was very clean). Something to know if you travel with kids as it can happen they need the toilet during the night. The boat was not well maintained and it smelled a lot (moist mostly). Still the kids found it fabulous so our goal was attained but if you go there you need to know that it's not really the best option.

“Great novelty stay”

The best

The location was great and novelty of staying on a boat. Great to chill on the deck and the beds surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of room inside and out.

To be improved

Bathroom v small but there were shower facilities but a 10 min walk. Stayed on a friday night and extremely noisy it went on all night long!! People coming home until 7am

The best

The harbor location is fantastic. Close to everything and with a great vibe.

To be improved

For the price, we expected a bit more. One of the outdoor chairs were broken, the boat was in general a bit run down. With a bit of polish, it would be easy to spruce up the boat.

I loved being on a boat! The location was very good to walk to churches and cafes. There a grocer close by.

To be improved

The toilet was a bit of a challenge. It's a camper unit on an unstable surface.

“Quirky, Fun, Great base,,,,,Do It.”

The best

excellent location, right next to bars, supermarket and cafes. Very short walks to old and new towns, 10min walk from the bus station.

To be improved

Arrived during Very heavy rain storms, hard to contact the owner (Doesn't speak any english), Water tank needs regular filling (if runs dry, then electric trips out....we figured out where trip re-set was.....just be aware), condensation was a problem, front area beds constantly felt damp, so not able to use. Luckily there are rear area beds, so we slept well(watch heads on Low ceilings). However even with all the little problems, We would Def recommend, and would Def use again....As it says on description.....An Experience.
