“Very pleasant surprise after reading mixed reviews”
The best

We were driving from Scotland to Portugal and were unsure how far we would travel each day. So we booked this hotel in the day. Our first choice was fully booked. We were a bit reluctant to book this one due to reports of uncomfortable beds, dated, soundproofing etc. could not have been better though. Easy to find parking to left of hotel and not nightmare if narrow underground spaces you sometimes get. Pleasant helpful staff, bright and clean spacious room, good non cooked breakfast, easy walk to old town. Don’t let reviews put you off and it was much cheaper than our original choice

Room was a nice size and had all the amenities we needed. Staff were polite and Luis was very helpful in particular. Appreciated the private parking underground. Enjoyed our stay

To be improved

Hot options at breakfast were poor in our opinion, but plenty of choice on the continental side.

“Great location”
The best

Beautiful hotel. We were given a suit which was lovely had a sofa and chairs just off the bedroom. The beds were comfortable and a great big shower. Hotel location and ample parking. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Walking distance to shops. Breakfast was amazing, and there was plenty of choice. They have a cafe onsit that offerers affordable food.Would definitely recommend.
