I had arranged to be able to check in at 1230 and the apartment, which we were sitting outside in the car with Aircon going for 3.5 hours wasn't cleaned until nearly 4. The surrounding area is like a war zone, filthy, rubbish everywhere, dog poo every step, broken glass food containers, building rubble, and abandoned vehicles. (My wife was in tears on our arrival) Undesirables loitering at night makes you feel unsafe. The apartment was once: a ground floor shop with no proper natural ventilation other than one window and a front door, which you can't leave open. It smelt damp on entering and it was. The decor is poor and lacking maintenance. (Zoom in on the photos on the site and you will see if you look carefully ) There was no microwave and no WiFi (Internet yes but WiFi no!) I did message the owner and was treated like a tech retard, unfortunately I am not. The SSID doesn't show up and the passwords are incorrect. The router has been replaced obviously and the SSID and codes on the bottom are not what are being broadcast. The shower was hanging off the wall, the bathroom furniture needed to go in the rubbish bin. We went because I was in Hospital and my wife; wanted to be nearby. This is the reason why we just didn't turn around and go home. As soon as I was discharged we left , 2 days early I hasten to add, as I was afraid of getting a chest infection or worse. I am sorry but that is the truth of it, but I suppose you get what you pay for €368 for 5 nights. For a few extra euros I wish she stayed elsewhere and walked a few more metres.
