“Lovely apartment in a great location:)”

The best

Great apartment in a lovely location - 3 minute walk to the sea and promenade. Comfortable beds and one bedroom has air conditioning (the other has a fan and is cool as it is in the back of the apartment). Pedro, the host, was very kind and let us check in very early and gave us a late checkout too, which was very much appreciated! There is a lovely balcony/ terrace area where it's nice to have a coffee in the morning. Great to have a reserved parking space! The landscape outside the apartment is lovely - lots of trees and birds.

To be improved

The only small issue was the sliding door on the bathroom - a bit tricky for privacy, but as we're a couple it was fine!:)

“Good beachside location, convenient, but not welcoming, outdated house. Not good value for money.”

The best

The location is great, and the host is very quickly responsive through Whatsapp. This was a positive for sure. He accommodated our needs, with some caveats which we were able to resolve.

To be improved

Mold(!!!): In general, the house, and especially the bedroom, had a smell of mold, and you could clearly see mold in the AC leaves. The owner explained that the area is very humid (basically these houses are built on a swamp), but only after we had booked and couldn't cancel for free anymore. We stayed for two weeks and the mold didn't affect our health (or so it seems), but mold can be dangerous. Outdated furniture: The toilet door was a sliding one, which doesn't give a lot of privacy. The bedroom door was making noise, which also makes a night's sleep disruptive to others. Every other furniture was just the right amount of uncomfortable. Kitchen: The main reason we chose this place to stay for 2 weeks, as opposed to booking a 4 star hotel room for the same price in the area, was the existence of a kitchen. While not entirely disappointing, it was hardly very functional. It is small, with no dishwasher. The details that make a stranger's place welcoming were missing. E.g. there was not even a cutting board. Cleanliness: Unfortunately the place needed a nice deep clean. Maybe we got unlucky as we just opened the season for them (April 2025)? The balcony looked untouched for at least weeks (dust and unclean), there was not even soap for the toilet, the beddings and sofa throw had a smell of mold (presumably from the fact they're stored in closets with mold, which again, the house definitely has). Unclear booking party size: Just a warning, the place is for 2 people, though it looks like it can accommodate 4.

“Superb”

The best

The location was about a 20 minute walk to the bay of Port de Pollenca where there were numerous bars and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious with all amenities that we needed. The kitchen area is well equipped and the balcony a pleasant outdoor space with comfortable furniture. The host was extremely helpful and was very communicative.

To be improved

The bathroom was a little on the small side.

The best

- a lot of space available - kitchen with good pans and utensils - washing machine. Dryer, microwave and toaster - 10 minutes away from the center by walk - parking spot available - amazing host: he was always very responsive and helpful

To be improved

- wifi very unreliable and stopped working completely during the last days. The apartment has a fiber optic plug, but the router was not there. If it was, I would expect no problems - One bedroom is without any windows - bathroom would need some care: water pressure not great - you can't fully close the bathroom: it's a sliding door - the apartment furniture didn't match the one from the listing photos, and was much more basic - no dish washer - Some noise from the street adjacent during the night, but unless you're very sensitive you would get used to it very quickly

Very clean. Spacious living area for a couple. Easy walking distance to great beach & centre. Great communication from host.
