“Our stay at Fergus Hotel was quite controversial. On the positive side, the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and the hotel made a thoughtful gesture by congratulating on the birthday. The sea view from the room was stunning, and the food was consistently tasty and well-prepared. · Cons: However, several issues affected our overall experience. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, and there were ants present from the start. The furniture was old and worn out, more in line with a budget guesthouse than a hotel of this standard. Additionally, the door to the room wouldn’t close properly unless pushed with considerable force, which was both inconvenient and concerning for security. We were also unexpectedly charged an additional €80 due to the hotel’s wireless payment system defaulting to USD (with a subsequent conversion to EUR). Since we paid with a EUR card, this resulted in double currency conversion and a 6% commission—without any prior warning or choice of currency. Everywhere else on Menorca, we were given the option to pay in EUR or USD, but not here. In summary, while the hotel has some genuinely nice features and welcoming staff, guests should be aware of its shortcomings. Be sure to weigh the pros and cons carefully before choosing this hotel for your stay.”

“It was relaxing, chilled with friendly atmosphere all around.”

The breakfast, had a wide range of options. And guaranteed many selection. The pool with a lovely size and a lovely temperature that didn’t make you feel cold when even resting in the pool. A bonus with the beautiful beach right off from the holiday. And the surrounds around the pool was lovely, clean with and lovely view from our hotel room. The areas were always clean and maintained well with a lovely reception, that were helpful

To be improved

There were ants in our room. Not many but they were tiny coming from outside our balcony.

Humidity and dust in the apartment(my wife has allergy and I advised before arrive but nobody took it in consideration), some spiders in the room, clogged sink, broken private, lack of recreation or activities at the hotel( all the hotels around have music and activities for the guests), little variety of food, having to pay for the drink is a shame for what we pay for. High cost.
