“Uncomfortable bed, old broken fan and uncommunicative owner.”
The area and proximity to attractions
The lack of communication with the owner. No welcome or instructions on how to enter property beforehand. When he did show up he was short and kept telling us he needed to pick his son up and did not think it necessary to be nice.

“Historic Homestay in the Albycin of Granada”
Very convenient location at the top of the the Albycin, close to restaurants and bars. The property is a historic “palacio” which has been beautifully restored. The rooms are quirky yet comfortable. A property of this type would normally be a boutique hotel asking much higher prices. The rooms are quirky este was very fair, the beds comfortable and lots of hot water. We glimpsed a huge room on the ground floor with its own exit to the garden.
Our room on the ground floor had difficult Accra up steep steps. No problem if you are young! We did not meet the hosts on our one night stay but the place is beautifully maintained and efficiently run. Communication by the app was good.
“Exceptional”
“Loved it and would go back”
The location was fabulous as right in the middle of the moorish Albaicin quarter of Granada and served by frequent buses from the centre of town. The property itself is centuries old and delightful with its own little patio with jasmine and lemon tree and a gallery above it for sitting. Bed comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Bathrooms spotless. The owners lovely and helpful.
