“Fantastic, beautiful, relaxing and chilled place, thank you!”

The best

Beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. The terrace was the best! The views were spectacular.. sea at the front, mountains at the back. Lovely pool and jacuzzi (open 10-3, 5-10) 10-15 minute walk to the beautiful beach or the supermarket. We took a bus to Torrevieja, which has water sports and restaurants. €1.60 on the bus or €25 taxi. I spoke to Fidalsa staff on Chat a few times and they were helpful and quick to respond. We were almost put off by the reviews we had read about the keys, and I’m glad we weren’t, because although the keys were difficult (see below) the apartment more than compensated for this! Would definitely go again!

To be improved

The address Booking.com supplied is NOT the correct address. I must emphasise this to help people who go in the future! The guide that Fidalsa send has the correct address and instructions-make sure you read them instead! We struggled for an hour at midnight because of this, but Fidalsa were helpful. The keys, and only having one set, were awkward! But we got used to them. Spanish locks are different to English. You must turn once then turn a bit extra, some you have to hold at exactly the right place to get it to open. on the apartment door turn twice and then turn a bit extra. I say this to help future guests, not to complain. No inflatables, not even a small ball, allowed in the pool :(

Lovely apartment apart from it was meant to ground floor and disable friendly great views very clean No hot water for a day half messaged back and forth then was sent a video to press buttons on the fuse block not good enough No WiFi at all with constant messages back and forth trying to get it sorted which never did happen And no key to work in the lock which was shown on video to get in to pool area to be told may lock has swallon due to the heat

“This could have been great but...”

The Apartment was great. Spacious and lovely balcony. And the location, even though it's a bit off is, good. Really only a 10-15 min walk to Guardamar. Parking is plentiful which was nice. It pains me a little bit to give a bad review but things could hav easily been so much better with just a little more effort. This could have been a 9/10.

To be improved

The keys to the gates were a nightmare and we spent 20 minutes trying to get out of the pool area day nr 1. Not ok with a small child and pregnant girlfriend. We got a new pool key for day 3, so it took a while (too long). Fidalsa also pretended like this was a new issue even though they've been replying to complaints about this here on Booking for many months. WiFi never worked. They said they would solve it but they didn't. The pool was pretty cold, I'd guess around 19 degrees but I get that heating is expensive and I don't judge them poorly for this, but it's worth a mention. And the final thing I would like to bring up is that when we brought up all the problems with the keys and the wifi/internet to our hosts, they straight up lied to Booking and said that the keys hade worked perfectly our entire stay and that they hade fixed the internet... Booking deserves praise though, the communication with them was very good.

the rooms had a good layout, nice balcony, near pool area, near beach

To be improved

construction site nearby with a lot of noice until 6:30, the madras in one room was extremely soft, no hot water the first days (heater was on timer that was not set properly), indoor pool area closed for season, door lock on the outer glassdoor was very worn (took long time to open sometimes), outdoor pool area had only cold water
