The best

The fridge was stocked with lovely nibbles and there were alcoholic drinks available. These had to be paid for but the prices were very reasonable. Nicely appointed rooms with everything you could need and wonderful views.

To be improved

The breakfast didn't materialise. We had chosen the FInca due to the lovely online pictures of breakfasts on their website as we knew it wasn't close to any restaurants or cafes. In reality the breakfast consisted of a few pastries that sat there over two days. There was a coffee machine that required payment. 'Picnics' were available but these had to be preordered and paid for in addition -disappointing when our reservations stated that breakfast was included.

“Really nice in a lovely rural setting and very helpful host”
The best

Hot food cooked too early and was cold. Eggs not cooked fully. Cover the eggs with water when cooking. Did request fresh cooked eggs the 2 nd morning and that happened with a proviso that is the normal. Silly

“We had a great stay at Finca el Pastel. We got a really nice and very clean room with a sea and pool view. The breakfast was included and it was quite diverse and delicious. Most of the products are local and there is an impressive garden with oranges, lemons etc. Make sure to arrive by car, since it is a car-friendly location.”

“Nice place to stay for discovering beauties of Tenerife.”
The best

Nice location a little out of Tacoronte. No problem to find even the first time and at evening, when we arrived, thanks to Google maps. There is a spacious private parking, so no trouble with that. I got a code for entrance so no problem with that too. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. We slept really well. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. One day we went on an early morning trip and I asked if we could get a meal to take with us. No problem with that and it was really wonderful packed. Honesly, we were expecting this kind of accommodation and we were not dissapointed in any way.

Not expected: the rural/eco aspect: towels are replaced only once every 4d, we were requested to put toilet paper in the bin next to the toilet (i.e. don't flush it). Especially the last thing was ultra weird, but apparently common in some areas of Tenerife. The lights in the room were awful to my taste - bright white. I purchased some 3000 Kelvin light bulbs myself to mount them in the night table lights (and left them there). This also seems to be a common thing in Tenerife
