“Cozy hotel, terrible animal welfare”

The best

The hotel is nice, located on the country side (car is needed) and the pool area was cozy and calm. The pool wasn't super clean though. Breakfast was nice, but was not so big everyday.

To be improved

The first things that put us off was the animal welfare we saw. On the web page it is pained out as a small farm with some animals walking around the property. This was not the case but there were animals confined in small cages without enough water or shade and at the time we were there it was over 35 degrees. Ducks in a small cage and a mini pond with very dirty water, rabbits and guinea pigs panting from not having enough water or shade in the heat and a small dog all alone all day in a small space and also without water every time we went past, so we as guest had to ensure there was water for the dog who were panting in 35 degrees. I can only assume they held these animals for guests to look at and this was also a selling point at the webpage, but it was nothing like it looked and if you are keeping animals you do not keep them like this. A part from that, the pool was not super clean. Plus we didn't appreciate the only bathroom was connected to the mail bedroom and we were 4 people so everyone had to go though one bedroom everytime they needed the toilet.

It was very clean. Beautiful building and an amazing breakfast. We’ve been traveling a lot around the world but this breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had.

To be improved

A few more things in the small kitchen in the apartment would be nice, some bowls, a real knife, wine opener and more glases for example.

“We were traveling with children, and it was fantastic. The property is in a calm place without loud noises from the town and is surrounded only by fields. Despite the hot weather, the room was always cold. We really enjoyed the breakfast with lots of local products. Our children enjoyed the pool and walking the dog. The room was cleaned every two days. I would recommend this property to all families and people seeking peace and quiet.”
