“Magical place! Loved”

The best

This place is magical! We were looking for a place to Use as a base to explore the island with excursions and hikes every day but ended up coming back earlier each day to enjoy this place. The landscape all around you is stunning, the finca beautifully designed and the grounds immaculately kept (which I have no idea how they manage given the wind and dust!). Our two bedrooms bungalow was perfect, clean and beautiful and with all you need. Overall so quiet and peaceful- perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

To be improved

Apart from the first day when a lovely lady came to say hi and checked we got there, we haven’t seen a member of staff for the entire week. Maybe they came when we were out (as clearly someone did come to keep the grounds clean as always immaculate). A bit more contact would have been lovely but we did have a number in case we needed something. So not necessarily a negative as you get lots of privacy and we are self sufficient travellers but would have been great to meet someone at least once more (if anything to ask more about the finca and its history etc).

“Retreat / relaxing.”

The Aesthetics, the remote location, the views, the pool, the gardens! Beautiful place.

To be improved

The lack of services or staff that you would normally get from a hotel and end up doing yourself (like cleaning the pool, unblocking the shower etc ..) also we had a large group booking for a few days while we were there who ended up taking over the entire place and were quite loud which was a little antagonising.

The best

Great location, very beautiful. Nice set up around pool. Comfortable private apartment with own outdoor space. Great guide to local amenities so we could make the most out of the island. Responsive property manager to provide cot and high chair when requested.

To be improved

For the price and branding expected more premium finish for example, that soap and shampoo would be provided (not just sachets). Apartment set out was nice but requires some refresh (old blinds, but dirty). Pool area could be resurfaced (extremely slippy when wet).

The best

It was so comfortable and perfect for relaxing. It’s got everything you’d need to cook your meals but also close to a lot of interesting places. Walking up and having coffee in the garden was a highlight.
