“The pool was great with plenty of space for the family. The owner is lovely and helpful. Plenty of towels for everyone. Shower pressure is awesome! Location is between Pollenca and the Port which was great for us as we had a car. Plenty of space for everyone inside for the whole family (we were 2 adults and 3 kids). · Cons: The BBQ facilities were bad. The big one in the photos doesn’t light well at all and is inside. The small outside is too small for the size of the property and tricky to operate. The kitchen facilities are relatively basic. WiFi strength is ok for one person to do VCs but more than that the bandwidth becomes an issue.”

“A wonderful stay at a fabulous farmhouse villa.”

The best

The wonderful pool! The space - there were lots of places to sit / eat / play games together. The gardens were lovely and the palm trees provided shade for the pool. There were plenty of sun loungers and lilos.

To be improved

The only frustrations were to do with location. We booked a cab from the airport via booking.com and it ended up going to the wrong place. It wasn’t until we got in touch with the host who provided a different address via Google link, that we could find the property. The same is true of the Mallorcabs app - it selects an address for the property that no taxi driver can find. We were also surprised at how far from the beach the villa was, as we had seen comments from other guests saying it was 0.5km. We ended up taking A LOT of taxis!

“Typical Pollensa villa, charming but a bit dated, huge pool though.”

The best

The owner Pepe was very helpful. The villa itself served our purposes perfectly. The gardens and outside spaces are fantastic, and the pool is huge. The villa is quaint but quite dated. It could do with quite a bit of general maintenance to bring it up to standards. This is not a complaint, just an observation. The villa is in quite a rural location and a bit too far to walk to the nice beach at Port De Pollensa. The descriptions of distances quoted on Booking.com are misleading. This was not a problem for us as we have been to this area many times so knew what to expect. A car is essential. There is a smallholding nearby with a cockerel; expect to be woken early in the morning....! All in all a lovely relaxing stay.
