“Spotless Apartment!”

The best

Apartment was spotless! Had everything you'd need for cooking, eating, etc. Staff in Hotel Areca couldn't have been more helpful! They made check in such a smooth process and were so helpful with taxis.

To be improved

The location is a bit out of the way, would definitely recommend renting a car to get around but that was a mistake on our end.

Easy free parking. Ability to sit outside. Generally in good condition and comfortable.

To be improved

No sharp knife. The one available couldn’t even cut an apple easily. Hooks on backs of doors would be an easy and brilliant idea.

“Very peaceful location and lovely pool spacious accommodation if somewhat remote.”

The best

Very well set out gardens and lovely pool with sun loungers. Very peaceful setting and spacious accommodation. Petrol station off next main roundabout heading back to the airport. Towels and basic kitchen facilities provided. Apartment seems newly finished. Table outside the apartment with chairs to sit and have a drink or just chill. There were planes going over but I didn't hear any road noise. Plenty of parking provided located inside a security gate.

To be improved

Location is somewhat remote so suggest you consider stopping off at a supermarket before you arrive with any provisions you may need. Could do with a kettle and perhaps a couple of complimentary coffee sachets which would be welcomed.

“Excellent apartment but location is noisy.”

The best

We stayed in the 3 bed apartment which comprised of 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. Linen and towels were provided and shower gel. There was one shower room for the apartment. There was a small kitchen/living area with table and chairs and TV. The kitchen had everything you might need. There was a pool on site which was small but nice and there were seats and tables to sit outside and near the pool. The garden areas were lovely and the area in general was well kept. There was a shared bbq area. It was great value for money. It was a 10 minute drive to the city.

To be improved

I chose the apartment because it was near the airport but I did not expect the level of noise. It felt like the apartment was at the end of the runway! The apartment is also located next to a main road. You cannot see the road but you can certainly hear the traffic when you are sitting outside, inside the apartment is much quieter but you can still hear the planes. If noise is not a problem for you then this is a great place, but it definitely was a downside for me. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance but we expected this. There is no reception at the facility. You must collect the keys from a hotel which is a 5 minute drive away. You would definitely need your own transport.

“A Place to relax and enjoy some quiet time”

The best

We only spent one night there but I hope we will return next year! It is a lovely place. Clean, new, comfortable. You do need a car as there is nothing around. Beds are super comfy, sheets and towels were new. Yes you can hear the airplanes flying over constantly (not at night though), but it’s not something that bothered us…
