Location was perfect for our needs. Very close to metro and walking distance to our concert at poble espanyol and plaza espanyol for airport bus

To be improved

The stairs to appt were challenging as my husband had injured his knee however we were well aware of these ahead of booking

“Great value, sizeable apartment close to the Metro so 15 mins from the city centre”
The best

This was perfect for a family stay, with teenagers seeing Barcelona for the first time. We were 50m from the superb Metro, surrounded by restaurants, small supermarkets and a proper market. With days reaching 35C the air con was sooo welcome and worked impeccably. The apartment is large, high-ceilinged, well-equipped and our hosts could not have been more helpful, even to the point of jumping in the car to direct me to the parking (three mins away) and then arranging with the attendant for a three-day pass (which I had not arranged in advance, silly me!). Towels, loo roll, detergent, everything was there; the dishwasher was large, the washing machine ideal and the main shower had excellent pressure. Two bathrooms eased the pressure on a family of five; the layout was quirky but worked, and could accommodate families with numerous young children. Also, even though the description says it is for smokers, I could not detect any smoke smell at all, and I am a vehement non-smoker. We really recommend it and would stay there again without hesitation.

To be improved

The location is a little noisy, being close to a fairly busy road and an area with a little nightlife. The corkscrew was broken, which necessitated an emergency trip to the very helpful Japanese restaurant next door! (We have no doubt our hosts would have sorted this for us very quickly but it was 10pm and we were desperate to get our bottle of Priorat open!) Lastly it's worth noting, it's 69 steep steps up to the apartment on the 3rd floor, not a problem for us (although at the end of a sweltering day it was not especially welcome either!!) but may be an issue for some.

“Great Apartment near Train Station”
The best

Great location, convenient to restaurants, markets, metro, and train station. Very, clean, great air conditioning, good communication with owner.

To be improved

Located on 3rd floor walk up with no elevator. Also, a little noisy from front room to main street.
