Great location, nice small apartment with both AC and a separate fan which was welcome after a day with very hot weather. Nice apartment, comfortable sofa bed and a fresh bathroom.

The best

Good location in a quiet part of Barcelona with nice cafes and bakeries (and supermarkets) nearby. A 20-25 minute walk to the city centre. Pretty basic amenities but was clean and we didn’t have any issues with noise.

To be improved

4 pm is very late for a check in. 2pm would be more reasonable but at least there was somewhere to store bags in the meantime. I was unhappy that I had to pay the tourist tax via an international bank transfer rather than just by the same credit card. As my Australian bank had a minimum transfer amount, I had to overpay. This all seemed very dodgy. Some of the communication with staff wasn’t the best, especially as I was told to pay the tourist tax before I could receive the entry code. It was more the tone of the communication really.

“Comfortable staying in the heart of Barcelona”
The best

The street is quiet so you can get decent sleep at night; you can walk to do sightseeing as it’s a nice location. It has aircon so you can enjoy comfortable temperature in the heatwave There’s a little kitchen with some appliances but there’s nothing else, I would expect some tea and coffee. But the good news is there are lots of local coffee shops and the prices are good as well as the quality.

To be improved

It needs some refreshing and better cleaning, we used the bed and the sofa, it’s messy inside the sofa. The lamp on the wall didn’t work and we didn’t use it. There is some wear and tear, which you will notice but everything is functional.
