The communication with the host is abysmal. What you get are automated replies and it either takes days for them to respond, or as in regarding my biggest issue, they simply ignored it in all channels. In the end, I did not have major problems with my stay, but what if I had had? It was not only rude, but neglectful of the responsibilities to not be reachable. My biggest gripe was regarding late check-in fee, and the inconsistency of their documented practices regarding it. There are 4 differing sources of truth available, none of which actually reflected reality. These are - the terms of stay written in here in Booking.com - the information given on their own page when booking a stay - the general conditions on their own site - the information passed when doing a mandatory online check-in (and this information is only available 2 days before arrival via a link sent to you) The fees and times listed regarding the late check-in are almost the same on the first 3, but not exactly, which already is a point of confusion, but the last one, which is forced upon you after agreeing to the earlier terms, bumps the price of a late-check-in to be 5-fold to all others: from around 30 euros you are suddenly forced to agree 150 euro fee if checking in late. I was not having this, and sent them multiple messages quoting EU-law and Booking-com terms and conditions, prepared to go court for such outrageous breach. I sent these messages via 2 channels, Booking.com-messages and their own chat in the check-in form. Both were ignored, and I only received an automated message regarding a door code to the apartment as a reply. It is clear they never even read these lengthy messages: I don't imagine they ever do.

It was amazing, you can cook and eat there, so comfortable and steps away to the atocha station! Everything was super clean, the girls were amazing if and when we needed something
