Rooms, facilities, SPA is excellent, park and promenade, open air cinema was very nice, access to the sea/beach. Two swimming pools, one is adult-only. It is overall spacious, relaxed, nice atmosphere. In-room facilities and amenities are excellent. Great view. Nice terrace.

To be improved

Just very minor things, which definitely do not bring the overall grade down. Housekeeping staff may need some training and pay more attention to the detail. We got no slippers to the room upon arrival, had to ask for this. We were served very nice welcome snacks and champaign to the room (which is great), but evening housekeeping failed to remove the leftovers and dirty dishes from the room (we were not in the room then) when doing the night service. Next day housekeeping did not replenish shower caps and paper tissue. Restaurants are nice, but if you stay longer, may be need to explore something outside the hotel. If you drive in and is not an experienced driver on Mallorca, better go day-time, as there is a winding part of the road. Some people chosen to play with kids in the SPA pool which is probably not the most suitable area for this.

“We love the beach at Formentor and thats why we return . The hotel is very nice but not cheap .”

The location is superb., and the beach is a joy . The breakfast was excellent with great choice when the weather was suited to the outdoor terrace being in use . Staff very well trained and very friendly.

To be improved

When we were restricted to the indoor area for Dining , breakfast specifically , it was claustrophobic , noisy and not suited to the number of guests. Not a pleasant experience. We wanted to see the island and if you take a hire car to this hotel there is a charge of 50 Euros per night, to us this seemed excessive . If you have a ground floor room you can find yourselves next to rooms with families, which can be noisy .
