The best

We really enjoyed the whole ambience of staying in a beautiful old house right in the heart of a small Andalusian town. Our hosts were charming and we really felt welcome in their home.

To be improved

We came with a car - essential - the bus timetable really doesn't allow for public transport to be a viable option if you plan to explore the area.

A beautiful building at a cozy and romantic square in Almodovar Del Rio. Our room was nice and quiet during the night and we woke-up with the sound of birds. The breakfast was simple, but lovely. And from the roofterrace you have a nice view over the surroundings and the castle. Also the staff was really kind and helpful.

To be improved

There was a parking spot nearby, but because the village is on a mountain, streets are narrow and steep. Be aware of this…

“Beautiful house on the village main square, great hosts!”
The best

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They took us a on a little tour of the property upon arrival. The property is beautiful - an old house in the heart of the village - and beautifully restored and well kept of, they are and can be very proud of their little gem on the main square of Almodovar. The location is perfect near a few restaurants and overlooking the main square. Bonus for the wonderful views of the castle from the terrace. The breakfast was good and varied too. We stayed only one night but enjoyed it a lot!
