Upon arrival, I was left waiting at the front desk without any acknowledgment from the receptionist. Despite standing there for some time, there was no greeting or indication that I would be assisted shortly. I eventually had to initiate the conversation myself, at which point I was told—rather curtly—that she was busy and I would need to wait. There was no apology or attempt to communicate this in a courteous manner. I completely understand that staff can be occupied with other tasks, but a simple acknowledgment or polite explanation would have gone a long way in making me feel welcomed. First impressions are important, and this interaction was disappointing. I hope you will take this feedback as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of hospitality and professional courtesy with your front desk team. I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that steps will be taken to ensure a more welcoming experience for future guests.

“Trying capsules is an interesting experience”

The staff doesn’t speak English, so be aware of that if you don’t speak Spanish. I had an issue where I booked a jacuzzi in advance, but it wasn’t prepared when I arrived-likely due to a problem with the booking website. Since I had paid upfront, I expected a refund. I did eventually receive it, but it took two days of trying to communicate with staff who only spoke Spanish, which was quite frustrating.

The check-in took over 45 minutes with only one person before us, as they were “switching personel”, even though 2 receptionists were available at the desk and chatting the entire time in front of us. Also, the thin mattresses in the lower pods are directly on the floor. In the pictures, the pod’s door looks soundproof enough, but it’s made of light plastic. Plus, there’s no written policy about noise. Therefore, a group of people in our room were being very loud at night for hours on end. The reception was no help for this issue, 2 nights in a row. I’d recommend earplugs.

“For a hostel, the privacy was excellent and each pod had lots of personal items that made it feel like you had your own room versus just a bed. Staff were also very nice and helpful. · Cons: Although the technology that plays into the vibe of the hostel was cool, some of it was broken and/or hard to figure out.”

It was exactly as described, only better. The bathrooms are huge and very well equipped with spa-like shower facilities. The pods are not only very comfortable, but also very unique.
