GALIHOST - Villa García

The host were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. We were a party of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids (age range 6-16). The house was more than we had expected from the pictures and information on booking.com. The house is large with 5 bedrooms, all comfortable and very clean. The house has everything you would want. The three indoor showers had hot water whenever it was wanted. Two of the bedrooms are ensuite with a shared bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs. The kitchen is spacious with a large table and more than enough seats for a large party. There is a washing machine and clothes line outside so we came home with no dirty clothes. Outdoors there is a beautiful pool with a cover for when it got very hot. The pool was clean and the highlight of our trip especially having 6 children in our party. There is an outdoor kitchen with fridge, beside this is a shower(hot water on demand) and toilet area, handy when using the pool. Beside the pool is a covered area for eating with ample chairs and deck chairs for relaxing and soaking up the sun when the kids play in the pool. The beautiful garden is so well kept with a range of flowers and so many fruit tress (Lemon, orange, pear and lime) The fruit was used by used in drinks and a tasty addition to our lunches. The hosts provided plenty of towels for the bathrooms/showers and for use after the pool, we really wanted for nothing. The location is rural with a few neighbouring houses, very quite and peaceful. On site there is parking for at least two cars. The property is accessed through an electronic gate. The nearest shops (bakery, supermarket, petrol station and pharmacy) is approx. 7 minutes away. The house is 45 minute drive from Santiago. We visited lots of the smaller towns and villages in the area, Villagarcia is a beautiful town to walk around and do some shopping. This property had everything we required and more. This property is spacious and beautiful. We were sad to leave and will definitely return.
