“Nothing the balcony door was broke for the duration of the holiday and we even came in and it was open on one of the nights. We went down to report this and the staff looked at us as if we were stupid saying ‘you must have left it open but I knew I didn’t they just didn’t want to come and check to see the the door was broken and wouldn’t lock. The room was covered in ants and even the maids couldn’t get rid of them they would clean the room and they would come back worse. On the last day I couldn’t get a late check out and the reception staff wouldn’t give me a luggage room key she said it would already be open and she shewed us away shouting go go. Biggest waste of money”

On arrival had dirty towels and dirty bed sheets didn’t like the fact one of the tramp cleaners stole €350 from my room and got told from a reception worker to go get a police report basically useless.

The staff & cleaners are all lovely. We stayed in room 2004 and the cleaner was one of the most pleasant people I’ve met she was so nice. Would come back later to clean your room too even though we know they don’t need to do that just such a lovely women. BUT the food. You are a good 25/30 min walk from any food restaurants, the food options in hotel are very very poor. You can’t alter any of the foods like you can in other hotels. Cheese ham tomatoe onion toastie is not possible. And the cheese & ham toastie looks as if it’s been cooked in a microwave. The tuna toastie isn’t tuna mayo. So if ur British it’s rank, I did add mayo from satches not a big deal but still just 0/10 for food. The choice is the poorest out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in Tenerife, and I’ve been more than 20 times now within the past 8 years multiple different hotels. They need to alter their food options during the day considering how far out they are for people to grab a quick bite during the day. We’ve stayed here 4 times now and this year will be our last, the food has scunnered me. Taxis this time have been a bit harder to get aswell so with kids it’s a bit of waiting about to get a taxi to get food & get back to the pool ur away for about 2 hours. We always eat out for dinner so can’t comment on the all inclusive side, my parter had breakfast one day toast & beans and was fine. Rooms are decent enough but do need a bit of an upgrade. Would say this is a 3 star hotel. Staff are exceptional though all pleasant. I think a lot of people’s negative reviews on the staff are from how they speak to staff too. Treat people how you like to be treated. Seen some people in the past be awfully rude to staff & most likely they’ll be the ones writing the negative reviews.

“Great hotel, solid 4 star!”

Very clean hotel. Can’t fault the cleanliness. Decent pool area that caters more to families. Rooms are very spacious and kept spotless. Buffet food was great value at 23 euro per person. Change of menu every night. Good quality food and it’s a massive range. Staff are amazing! They can’t do enough for you. Can’t fault them at all. Very happy with the overall service. Only downsides- taxi ride (5 euro) or 15-20 walks into the main town. Pool only opens at 10 (officially) music is put on via a speaker but it’s very quiet and no real vibe at the pool if that’s something you are looking for. Very chill for families though. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms which was a disappointment. Fridge very small (mini fridge) Drinks on the expensive side so make sure to stock up your own or you’ll end up spending a fortune if you like a drink most nights. Gym could do with more weights/ machines but wasn’t in heavy use. Overall a nice time. We would come again as the positives outweigh the small negatives. Thank you Gara Suites.
