All around the place was very nice and decent value for money. · Cons: The pictures can be a little misleading with the size of the pool, it's more of a hot tub size, bit of a pain to get to the down being it's down a mountain but that's an island for you. Also got a bit unlucky with the weather, was cloudly most the time we were there.”

“Beautiful house with some comments”

The best

First of all, the house is really spacious and beautiful. Really nicely decorated with cosy lighting, which is rare. We loved eating on the pretty patio and the rooftop is gorgeous, nice ocean view. The pool fits 2 persons sitting in it, small, but nice. Good to know: - the house is on the higher part of the town. Going there is 7 minutes of descending and back up quite a hard climb if you are having trouble walking, like one of us. The supermarket is in the lower part if you want to walk. Otherwise you need your car. - The 2 bedrooms are at the street side. There is no airco, so you want to sleep with the windows open. You will hear street noise. And someone could easily climb into the house through the windows, didn’t feel completely safe. Nothing happend, but still. - The beds are 4 single beds. Practical to some, less romantic for others. The mattresses are very hard. Comfortable for some, not for all.

What we didn’t know and expect: the house only has supplies for the first day or so. We stayed 9 nights and we were told by whatsapp to wash our only set of towels, clean the house, buy toiletpaper, showerstuff, dustbags, cleaning towels and so on. We were surprised. There were cockroaches in the house and a lizard in the sofabed, with poops we had to remove. Also other kind of poop on the rooftop. For the price we payed, we would have liked to have a cleaningservice and a fresh set of towels at least once. We never had any personal contact with the manager, only by whatsapp. In the house info map it says: if you need more towels or anything else, please let us know. So we asked for a clean set of kitchen and bathroom towels and showergel. They only brought some extra kitchen towels, nothing else. The manager answered that what we got in the beginning was courtesy and that we had to use the washingmachine and do and buy everything ourselves. We could check out at 11:30 instead of 11, that was nice.

“as stated the location and property was amazing and the owner and her family were helpful , incredibly responsive respon”

the property was exceptional with an amazing terrace and plunge pool. the lay out, design and decor superb. the cleanliness was perfect the location is also perfect a short walk from the sea front, natural sea pools , town and restaurants the owner and her family so friendly thoughtful responsive and practically helpful.

To be improved

there was nothing we did not like about the property just a few meagre comments for things we would have personally appreciated the cooking arrangements were very good but would have liked a few more cooking implements a measuring jug a couple of serving bowls ie for salad potato masher garlic press bedrooms would have liked draws also in the bedrooms as otherwise clothes all just visible which then makes what is a beautiful bedroom look untidy hanging space difficult to hang long things these points are minor
