A week before departure, we learned that the apartment we reserved had problems with electricity. We were offered another apartment, which was in a not very nice place on the outskirts, but in the end we were satisfied. A wine corkscrew was missing in the kitchen and a hairdryer in the bathroom.

I regret to have to mention this but I do think that potential customers should be aware of the down side. Firstly, there is absolutely no mention in the description that this apartment is on the Fuertaventura Park complex which is a run down has been place now operating as a social housing ghetto. The swimming pool has long been abandoned and now contains supermarket trolleys and the sight that greets you when you open the front door is a bricked up patio door and messy washing lines. Such a shame because it must have once been very nice. Costa de Antiqua is a little isolated but there is a very good bus service to Airport, supermarkets and other nearby towns and resorts. Would we stay there again? I'm afraid not.
