The room was very bright and well kept. In a good location.

To be improved

Our check in time was 3 but didn't arrive until 5 and the apartment wasn't ready as the bed hadn't been made. A broken coffee table had been left in the room and there were no wine glasses or corkscrew. We informed the staff and they dropped us some off the following day. There is a gap round the door which lets in both light and noise and the panel above the door needs a blind. The toilet seat was loose so you had to be careful when using it. I've actually read some of these comments before so they obviously still haven't been addressed.

“Fly infested, broken window…”

The room was well decorated. We were happy with the location as it was a 20-minute walk from most things. That is where the positives end unfortunately.

To be improved

When we walked into the room, we noticed straight away that there were lots of flies all over the room, this was even worse when we got into the bathroom where we counted 20-30 flies. Secondly, we noticed that the large window next to the bed towards the street was broken and would not close. There were metal bars on the outside of the window so we didn’t feel too unsafe, but it did create a draught right next to the bed, & meant everything from outside was louder. We messaged the host about it, they said they would bring someone round to fix it, and no one did. Thirdly, the studio had the bed next to the door of a fairly busy road, so anyone walking past sounded like they were walking basically in our room, very poorly insulated! Lastly, we had hot water for around 10minutes only, which of course for two people is not enough time! This meant one of us was left with the end of their shower being very cold. All these issues along with minor problems such as the fridge being barely cold, and the addition of a coffee machine with no coffee pods, means that the stay was well overpriced and we do not recommend!

The unit was nicely upgraded, clean and walking distance to major sites.

To be improved

(1) The bed was next to a window situated on a narrow, very busy sidewalk and roadway. Even with windows and blinds closed,people and vehicle noise outside was loud, disruptive, and intrusive throughout the evening and into the late night. (2) The unit address given to us was wrong and after kind efforts by the taxi driver to locate the address, he had to give up. We walked around the area with luggage trying to locate the correct unit. After a call to the ‘owner’, he said he would “go down”. After 45 minutes or so, we asked a person coming out of the address to confirm the address we had. She said there were only 4 units at the address we were given and our unit was described as #6. She called the owner and spoke in Spanish advising of our situation. He said he would send someone. Quite some time later, a male arrived advising that he and his brother owned # of units and that his brother posted an incorrect address. He apologized and drove quite a distance from the address we were given. This experience is not one we intend to repeat with this rental owner.

Bathroom smelled badly, we think the water stucked in the shower. Need to be fixed. Kitchen was officially equipped but a coffee tab for the guest would be nice if a machine was already provided.

Proximity with the centre. You can park easily in the area. The landlord is helpful if you have anything to ask. The kitchen area is nice. Big TV.

To be improved

There is a lack of equipment. We had a bit of a shower flood and no mop. Also no dryer for the clothes. The space tends to be a bit small.
