“The stay here was amazing, the place and it’s location is incredible. The apartment had enough space for comfortable living, the host was really easy to contact. So over all we really liked the stay. And the balcony was spectacular I would go back here just for it, balcony covered any little minuses this apartment had, because the view was incredible. And the location is really good, you can walk from the apartment to all popular places. · Cons: The sound isolation were not that good, when you go to sleep you can hear your neighbours walking but thats not that bad.”

The location of the property was wonderful.

The shower had mold and it was so small it was almost not functional. The air conditioning was minimal. The floors also made my feet dirty. The mattresses were just thin foam mats. The “city view” is the back of the building where you see trash and other people’s laundry.

The best

Danny was polite and competent. Let us in and the check in was 10 mins. The checkin provides 2 x sets of keys and Danny took time to explain that one security set was the only key linked tothe room. In other words, security was good. The location is AWESOME. The Sagrada Familia is 100m away. You can sit on the balcony and look at his architectural marvel or "people watch" as the throngs of tourists are drawn to the church as moths to a flame. Location_100%. The apartment is fairly quiet considering you are above the paedestrian street cafes and so close to one of Spain biggest tourist pullers. Air con was good. Finally, the Metro is 100m away and Very convenient .

For those wanting to experience what its like to be a chef on a transatlantic yacht - without the sea sickness - this is your place. The kitchen is tiny. Its a 1 x person affair with the barest minimal of cups, plates etc. The oven door wont open if the kitchen door is open etc. I am still baffled why apartments provide 1 x bin liner for a three night stay. Filter coffee and tea were provided (nice touch), probably from the previous tenants. But lets be fair - your in Spain and next to a MAJOR tourist attraction. The second bedroom is airless, cramped, no windows. It contains 2 x camp beds. We had kids so not really an issue, but I can imagine 4 x adults would be a squash and a squeeze. The first bedroom was great. We moved the beds tothe spacious lounge which worked but of course limits that area too.
