The apartment was not particularly clean upon our arrival. Additionally, the shower tray was broken and potentially hazardous — there is a large crack that you have to avoid to prevent injuring your feet. We were also very disappointed to learn that our accidentally left-behind belongings, which were clearly not rubbish, had been thrown out—despite our attempt to arrange a prompt collection. The responses from customer service have been extremely discourteous, which has only added to our overall dissatisfaction of the apartment, which was shame as our experience in San Sabastian was amazing.

Location was very central and everything within easy access. It's very noisy at night due to the proximity of bars but you are warned of that when you book.

To be improved

Very difficult to open the door to the apartment. No instructions were provided so when we arrived and couldn't gain entry we had the call the hosts. Pillows on the beds were very poor and no extra ones were available. No small welcome pack was provided - tea, coffee, some milk and a bottle of water would have been very welcome. No welcome guide with local facilities was provided. No tea towel for drying dishes. Only 1 dishwasher tablet provided. Bedroom unit doors almost impossible to close correctly.

The place is very close and on walkable distance to old city center and beach

Construction works on the next building 8 to 5 every day No shampoo gel in the bathroom or even a plastic bottle
