“My stay at gijon surf hostel was amazing! The property is beautiful and tucked in a quieter part of Gijón connected with nature, super close to a park, hikes, and beaches. The atmosphere at the hostel was one of the best I’ve ever seen, all of the guests and volunteers were so friendly. The hostel does a good job of organizing activities in addition to the surf classes so there’s always something fun to do. The bed was nice and came with a curtain, light, and USB charger. Truly one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to, I will definitely be back!”

My stay at gijon surf hostel was amazing! The property is beautiful and tucked in a quieter part of Gijón connected with nature, super close to a park, hikes, and beaches. The atmosphere at the hostel was one of the best I’ve ever seen, all of the guests and volunteers were so friendly. The hostel does a good job of organizing activities in addition to the surf classes so there’s always something fun to do. The bed was nice and came with a curtain, light, and USB charger. Truly one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to, I will definitely be back!

The best

Friendly laid-back surf vibe. People just chilling and commingling while taking in the surf. We had a group dinner spontaneously. Rooms are a bit cramped, but it’s what made for a unique atmosphere. The people were mostly engaging and welcoming. Nice big front yard to hangout in the hammock.

To be improved

No public washer/dryer. A bit of a walk to the beach, supermarket (15 min), and city center.
