Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Great location close to the beach, but some noise issues reported.
Staff were generally helpful, with shoutouts to Kaia and Javi for their outstanding contributions.
Food was generally good with variety; some adjustments needed for temperature and quality.
Good availability of amenities, but entertainment options and gym cleanliness noted as areas for improvement.
Overall experience was affected by noise and entertainment issues, making guests less likely to return.
Food choices were good, though entertainment was lacking, which diminishes overall value.
“Tokens system is ridiculous”
We are 3 women all above the age of 50 the only thing really to complain of is there new token system you get given 2 tokens on arrival and these are to get drinks every time you go up for a drink you hand over a token, to refill your drip you simply bring your cup back or get your token so you 2 again, hope this makes sense. But the all inclusive drink menu is very poor if you want a brand beer or cider you have to pay. One by one we go to the bar and order 3 drinks but we were told you can only get a maximum of 2 at a time so now so 2 of us needs to go to the bar to order 3 drinks, that is ridiculous!! We will not come back here my friend ordered a majito and it was like lime and water we went and had it changed and it worse very shocking.
“Update from October and a big difference.”
This is an update to my review left in October 2025 where I scored our holiday a three. Globales promised to look and change things and they have largely delivered on that. We were greeted warmly at reception and welcomed back, we have visited many times and it is lovely to be recognised. Check in was quick and without a problem. The hotel is spotless and rooms are a good size for two sharing, cleaned every day by friendly staff. Pool areas are large and have plenty of sun loungers and there has been a change in lifeguards now more attentive which was a concern before. Big shout out to Miguel and Francisco in the bar always happy to chat and add to the hotel experience. In the restaurant it is always good to see Javi and there were a good few new staff who always had a smile for us. The food was an improvement also with themed nights every night and always something for everyone. As said before the hotel has a multicultural guest base but lots of British and French guests this time so don't expect everything to be aimed at the British market. One of the letdowns last October was the animation team and the lack of activities, that has been greatly improved this year and a big well done to Paul, Jadey and Carolina who were happy to engage with people. We normally visit at least twice per year and have held off from booking until we see if things have improved and we have to say we will be booking again soon as the hotel is now back on track and delivered a great stay for us. Yes the lifts are small and you have to wait but you know this if you read the reviews but don't be put off. The Mimosa offers excellent value for money and we look forward to returning soon.
“Laughs, lifts, and loss of dignity”
If you’re looking for a holiday that combines sun, chaos, carbs, and a touch of sheer unpredictability, the Globales Mimosa in Mallorca delivers in ways no brochure could ever fully prepare you for. Let’s start with the food—because honestly, it deserves top billing. Breakfast each morning was nothing short of a triumph. The kind of spread that convinces you to become a “morning person” purely out of respect. Fresh pastries, hot options, and enough variety to justify going back at least three times “just to try everything.” And then there was the snack bar… oh, the snack bar. A place of zero self-control. You couldn’t walk past it without emerging moments later clutching a slice of pizza or a hotdog like it was a life necessity rather than a choice. It had a gravitational pull. Resistance was futile. The pool area? Absolutely gorgeous. Sparkling, spacious, and the perfect setting for pretending you’re in a much calmer, more sophisticated holiday than the one you’re actually having. Sunbeds, good vibes, and just enough serenity to lull you into forgetting what awaited you inside… …because the real heartbeat of this hotel is not the pool. It’s the lifts. Now, some people complain about them. Long waits, questionable capacity, a bit of unpredictability. But for us? The lifts were the entertainment. The main event. The beating, slightly malfunctioning heart of the trip. There was the mystery of the stowaway luggage—bags that seemed to travel independently, abandoning their owners like rebellious teenagers. Then there was Pervy Pete, a recurring character who treated every lift ride like an extreme sport in personal space invasion, always somehow managing to brush past at exactly the wrong moment while lunging for the floor 10 button. But nothing—nothing—could top the grand finale. Nine of us. One lift. Maximum capacity: four. We knew it was wrong. The lift knew it was wrong. The aggressive, panicked beeping confirmed it was deeply wrong. But did that stop us? Absolutely not. We crammed in like a chaotic game of human Tetris, laughing hysterically as the lift protested our life choices. Eventually, sense (barely) prevailed, and we split into two groups. But by then, it was too late. The laughter had reached dangerous levels. One of us, already suffering from what can only be described as a critically weak bladder, simply couldn’t hold it anymore. And so, in the confined, echoing chamber of that cursed lift, tragedy struck. Yes. There was an incident. Feet were sacrificed. Dignity was abandoned. And we laughed so hard it somehow made the whole thing worse. By the time we reached our floor, we were emotionally broken, physically compromised, and absolutely convinced we’d just experienced the highlight of the entire holiday. So yes—the Globales Mimosa has great food, a beautiful pool, and lifts that may or may not test the limits of both engineering and human decency. Would we go back? In a heartbeat.
“Jonas”
Super great dude jonas who made the whole experience better, 100% 5/5
“Exactly how I expected it to be”
This hotel didn’t blow me out of the water, but it was exactly what I expected it to be for the price we paid for Easter weekend. The hotel is VERY clean, reception staff are very helpful. The room we had was 712 side view room with a balcony and was spacious, comfy and clean. The safe didn’t work in the room but we were only there 2 nights. There is no kettle and cups in the room or phone which was a first for me for a hotel room, not being able to have a cup of tea on the balcony! We were all inclusive so was given 2 drinks tokens each and you have to take your glass back to the bar each time you want a new drink. What was annoying was paying for all inclusive but some cocktails were not included - pina colada was €6 extra. The food was as expected, just standard buffet food, sometimes a bit repetitive but breakfast was my favourite. The pool bar had hot dogs, burgers and pizza everyday if you missed lunch. I’m glad we went when we did as i think when this hotel is full it would be a nightmare. There aren’t enough Sun loungers around the pool or tables/chairs in the bar area for everyone. The lifts are SO slow and tiny, and they don’t have sensors so will shut on you - please watch out for this. We had a late flight home so paid €36 for a 4pm check out rather than 12 noon which I thought was a decent price. They have a luggage storage room and a shower room for if you have checked out of your hotel room. The hotel can be a bit noisy, there were a lot of young kids in the hotel banging their room doors and slamming doors etc which was very loud. TV in the room has some English channels. Hotel is within walking distance of the beach and a supermarket. Overall I would stay again for a few days but I would not do any longer than that here.
“Fantastic, clean and welcoming”
An amazing 6 nights at the hotel mimosa. Food was varied and good. Hot food cooked in front of you daily. Entertainment was great, started at 8.45pm, some nights there was bingo, followed by a quiz. Other nights a singer and disco. Animation staff were friendly and ensured everyone felt included. All the staff work extremely hard to ensure that the guests have a great time. Our room was quite small, it had a fold up bed and 2 singles pushed together. The bathroom shelf was also small, but we managed, and stored our stuff elsewhere. Location of the hotel was good. Supermarket next door and bars and restaurants a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you 😊
