Gold Sunset

Never met anyone from letting agent until last day. No info. on restaurants or recommendations on local tourist activities provided. No change of bedlinen or towels during a 10 day stay. Apartment was on 14th floor and 2 of the 4 lifts were out of action for much our visit Bar at pool only opened intermittently so there were limited options for refreshments at the pool. There was no area at pool with wind shelter and many of the loungers were broken.

We were told......The check in regular hours are 3pm to 8pm so if you are checking in after these hours there is an surcharge ( 8pm to 10pm - €20, 10pm to 12am - €35 and 12am to 8am - €50) the reason being that someone needed to meet us and give us the key. We were notified of this only after we paid when we received a message on whatsapp from the organiser which we felt we should have known this before we booked. We thought a €50 surcharge was a bit too much (our flight was arriving at 2am). I mean is not our fault the flights are at these times right? it's not a bus so we can change and take an earlier one. Anyways, after a few messages exchanges it looks like they had a key box outside the apt door!! where they left the key for us and there was no more surcharge I am just curious why didn't they do this from the start?? The water from the air conditioning system was collected in water bottles on the balcony which were very often overflowing all over the balcony floor, we had to make sure bottles are emptied all the time. Pillow was as hard as a rock so i used the decorative pillow to sleep on. Water pressure in the shower on the 14th floor was quite poor.
