Golden Mar Menuda

The View, cleanliness, friendly very accomodating staff were all top notch. Most of the staff spoke English well. Perfect Location too. Richard, Lori, Gemma Jessica and Mateo went out of their way to make us feel welcome and joyful. The breakfast buffet is delicious and very generous!

Excellent stay and value for money. Breakfast was very good as well. Best part was the staff who were super friendly and helpful.

Lovely modern hotel right next to the beach. Rooms had a large tv, comfy beds large balcony overlooking the courtyard and a large walk in shower. Shower gel shampoo and hand-wash are provided. There is a coffee machine in the room but there is only tiny espresso cups. You only get 4 pods and 2 creamers for w people. It says a kettle in the room but there wasn't one even though when we asked they said there was but you can obtain hot water through the machine. There was a pool with lots of loungers but some were not in good condition. It's only a few steps to the beach but the beach is full of small pebbles and there is a slope into the sea. We went room only and didn't use the restaurant as the food didn't look like the food we would eat. There is a beach bar that is reasonable and we had breakfast there most days. The staff at the hotel are lovely and the hotel bar is comfortable. We had clean towels every day and pool towels are free to use. The area itself has plenty of shops and restaurants and is easy to get around. The only downside of this hotel is it's down by the beach and coaches are not allowed to drive down so there is an 11 minute walk to find the hotel. Not ideal when you arrive late at night and haven't a clue where it is and you are dragging luggage.

Loved this hotel and our whole holiday. Clean & modern, our room was cleaned daily. We had a rear view balcony over the dive school which was fine. The rest of the time spent by the pool or breakfast is at the front with amazing views of the bay and old town. Great that the hotel is right on the beach too if you want to wander over there. The buffet breakfast was fabulous! And all the staff were so friendly and willing to help anytime. We also did about 6km - 10km hiking most days & this hotel is perfectly located for trekking north or south on the Camino de Ronda, or inland through town and onto mountain trails. Most very easy to follow. Very picturesque area - we'll definitely be coming back! Thankyou xx

We had a wonderful 10 night stay at Golden Mar Menuda. The hotel is quaint with great outdoor space for relaxing and sunbathing. Only a few yards from a gorgeous beach. We are kicking ourselves it took so long to discover this fantastic town, with amazing castle and restaurants. We had a couple of cloudy days so had chance to discover this gem of a town The hotel is at the very end of the resort but a jaw dropping walk to the town and located in the perfect location We stayed b&b and the breakfast was superb. A cooking station where lovely staff cooked omelettes, bacon and eggs. With a section with cold cut meats, cheeses and so much more. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they are so good they are almost invisible everything was seamless and we hardly had to talk to reception only to ask for a clean pool towel each morning Unless you pay for a sea view the rooms look to the back of the hotel and we had a nice little view of the courtyard behind reception. The air con was ice cold, we had a useful fridge for keeping drinks cold. We were also offered a kettle to go with the Nespresso machine in the room The cleaning staff are very thorough changing bedding and towels daily The pool isn’t very long but it as there aren’t lots of rooms it was never busy and we easily found sunbeds at any time of day The hotel had acts on 3 times during our stay and it was great to see the locals on the walkway outside the hotel dancing to the music We will definitely be back

Probably one of the best hotels in the city. 100 meters from the beach. Good facilities. Nice restaurant. Pretty good and friendly staff.
