Golden Port Salou & Spa

Very clean and great entertainment. My two sons had an issues with their room (noise in the room above until 3/4am for two nights) and when they complained the manager was very quick at resolving. We were very impressed.

Great location, lovely hotel. Good food and entertainment was good. Really lovely staff. Really could have been a 5 star review... HOWEVER if you value your sleep I would not stay here. We were in the family suites so can only speak for those rooms but the noise at night is really really bad, from nearby bars and youths drinking in an area to the rear of the property, we reported to reception and they apologised but offered nothing beyond an apology, couldn't even supply us with ear plugs. Also Construction noise early the next morning, to be fair it was in a neighbouring property so out of the hotels hands but there is no sound proofing in the rooms whatsoever. Also the beds are rock hard, I like a firm bed but there was no comfort in those beds whatsoever. So apart from the sleeping situation it is fantastic but unfortunately that is a deal breaker for us so I would not recommend or return.

We spent 10 days in this lovely hotel. 7 people in our family booking 3 rooms and accommodated on the 6th floor. Really well appointed rooms with everything you we need. Great selection of food for breakfast. The scrambled eggs disappeared every other day !! Entertainment and animations for more youngest daughter were fantastic. Staff responsible for this were superb. This is a lovely hotel with genuinely friendly staff at all levels.

Lovely hotel and amenities for kids.. Have been back 3 times. Unfortunately this time around the football pitch is unsupervised dominated by older children who kick younger children out, and then when they let them play they are very rough with them. That is the only downside this time.

Lovely hotel, food, drinks, staff . Great facilities and location. Very clean. Good value. My only quibble would be the noise at night. This was kids playing by the pools and noise from yobs in the street behind ( near shots club) .

Beautiful hotel..Great staff and an amazing buffet breakfast 😋 will definitely be back again..thank you to everyone who made our stay most enjoyable ❤️
