“Hostel but classy.”
Communication with the hotel was effective and helpful. The hotel was prompt in returning my emails and questions. Check-in was easy via instructions sent by the hotel via WhatsApp and e-mail. The location is in the heart of center city.
The WiFi was not working; however the hotel reset the WiFi. Our room was somewhat clean; however there was hair found on almost all of the bedding, there was dust, and worst of all, the refrigerator was not cleaned out from the previous quest (or 2) prior so there was spoiled food in the fridge along with flies.
“Great local experience in Madrid”
Prime location (walkable to many of the key spots and day trip/tour operators in Madrid), I had everything I needed to experience living in the city like a local, the room was true to pictures. Reception (in particular, Paul) was warm, thoughtful and responsive on texts!
None, I loved everything about this accommodation!
“Apartment was modern and nice to stay in · Cons: A lot of emails prior to the stay and leading up to leaving! I received up to 10 the week before I got there which I felt was unncessary”

“Reasonable price and good location”
We stayed at one bedroom apartment for family of four. The location of apartment was 10 min from Gran Via and walking distance to most places we visited. It was 5 minutes away from groceries like Dia and Carrefour. We stayed at second floor and there was a lift to get up there. We had two bright windows/ balconies overlooking the alley which is bright and airy. The apartment equipped with a kitchen and everything we needed. It is a good value for the amenities and location!
“Simple, good value. Can recommend.”
I was in Madrid for three nights so fancied a a bit more space and self-sufficiency than you get in a hotel, I got exactly what I wanted. I booked through Expedia (can’t remember why) and the room descriptions there don’t quite match the website so I wasn’t 100% sure what I was getting. I appear to have had a compact / economy one bedroom apartment with sofa bed, and it was perfect. Small lounge and kitchenette, a table to eat at or work from, small shower room and a bedroom with a fairly small, but perfectly comfy double bed. The only windows were frosted for privacy as they overlooked other rooms, not having a view wasn’t an issue for me, but could bother some people. There is no lift so you might want to request a room on a lower floor if you’d prefer not to climb stairs. Check in was fine. I’d received an email containing an instruction to call them when I got off the plane, there was no answer so I was a little concerned, but on arrival at reception someone was there to meet me and get me sorted very efficiently. Problem with the WiFi on the first night which was a bit of a pain, but this was sorted the next day so can’t complain. All in all, I feel like I got good value and would happily use again.
“LACKS Maintenance/ Upkeep - good location”
These are self contained apartments in traditional Spanish buildings in a great location. However ….. they are not as nice as shown on the pictures and the maintenance is poor. Bedroom door would not close due to poor fitment and bathroom door would only close if repeatedly slammed. Sofa bed is really uncomfortable with metal frame felt throughout making for a poor nights sleep. Cleaner was banging door 15 mins prior to having to vacate the room and when I pointed this out to her she should at me in Spanish !! (Not something I would expect from an establishment looking for tourist to stay). Also cleanliness of apartment would be described as fair/poor, I even found a previous guests toothbrush under the bathroom sink. Shower head was hanging off the wall due to poor upkeep and bathroom mirror was also in poor condition needing replaced. Great area of Madrid to stay in with plenty of local cafe/restaurants in the area. Gran Via is a pleasant 10 mins walk from the apartment and it’s also approx 5 mins walk from the tram station if like us arriving from the airport.
