GranHotel Brilliante was like staying in a grand old dame from the past. The renovation was beautiful and the hotel complements San Estaban. Along with the amazing staff, our stay was perfect.

The best

Beautiful charming small hotel on the bay. 10 minutes from airport. Friendly accommodating staff who were so thoughtful as I arrived very late from a delayed flight. Beautiful clean room with AC and amazing buffet breakfast of everything you could wish for. Ill definitely be returning

“This hotel is excellent. It is very modern and clean. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was a nice surprise and very spacious. Its location is really good and there is free parking for hotel residents. The restaurant food is perfect for breakfast and evening meal. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“Great hotel, staff and location but avoid the restaurant”

Great super welcoming and cheerful staff, great room, beautifully presented and super comfortable bed. Breakfasts were great with plenty of selection and could be even better if there was more proactive waitering and not having to ask for another coffee or juice etc. Minor I know but it makes a difference. Also why are egg yolks never runny when cooked here?

Dinner in the restaurant on the first night was an utter disaster and I cannot recommend it. Everything we tried to order was not available and they clearly wanted us to order tuna as it was “in season”. Great if you like tuna but my partner doesn’t. Tried to order the hake, then the cod but all not available. Eventually settled for beef cheeks which was a horrible choice which she described as worse than school dinners despite the obligatory tinned carrot and two processed peas. Seriously disappointed. I did order the tuna and Iberico ham tacos and instead got overcooked tuna and some greasy fries. We were too tired from a long journey to complain and just went to bed somewhat fed up having paid for it and not saying anything at the time. Mentioned it at check out but not sure the message was understood. Great hotel let down by a terrible evening meal. Needless to say we didn’t eat on the restaurant again and it was even more so odd given that breakfasts were good.
