Gran Hotel Flamingo-Adults Only older 18 years old

We booked this hotel independently and booked the upgraded rooms for access to the roof top. We had 2 rooms, a double and a single. Both were the same size and in the same section. Location was great, no real views from the room, but we did have a view of the strip, however when the doors are closed you hear no sound from outside or the corridor. The rooms were great overall, however we did have an issue with the air con for the 1st few days and it was noisy with the balcony door open. I get it, we find the temperature warm in April, the locals don't! Initially we were told the whole hotel was in heating mode only, but when we asked again the next day after a less than perfect nights sleep and it was fixed in both rooms. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. I spoke with a member of staff about my dairy allergy and she showed me everything I could have. Alternative milks and even croissants were available!!! The main pool was good, however due to the time of year/ shade it was easier to use the rooftop pool area for relaxing. It had lots of comfortable beds, chairs and a bar. We had a fridge in both rooms and there was a spar next door so easy to hang out in the balcony. We hired a car to explore the area and the hotel had it's own paid for parking which is cheaper than those around and felt very secure. There's lots of great restaurants in the area, don't be put off by the number of fast food places nearby. Overall we would recommend this hotel to family and would return.

Great hotel for adults and super kind stuff

Very good hotel. We asked for a quiet room and got it. Also balcony doors are pretty qualitative to hold the noise, as hotel is located in very central and good location.Pool is very good and enough space for everyone, you can just spend whole day in the hotel. Also good gym. Breakfast was also nice.

Amazing hotel honestly, so clean and very well laid out. Room we booked was amazing, super cosy. Rooftop pool was wonderful, the hotel breakfast was fantastic too I rate it 100/10 and will most definitely be back!

Excellent hotel in a great location close to bars restaurants and all the action Room was a good size clean with a huge comfortable bed with a/c and a small fridge We were bed and breakfast and the offer was good standard with plenty of choice for any taste We used the hotel bar a few times 5 euros for a large beer, you can find cheaper out in the town We tried the linked Mexican restaurant which was also very good and reasonably priced

The reason I have given this review is due to the following Main reason, had been asking for months previous to pay and upgrade so we could use the rooftop as this why we booked. The tour operator doesn’t offer this option. Always advised no, not until check in. Get to check in there’s none, but is what it is I suppose until I find out the ‘stag’ group of over 20.., some have been upgraded for free ! Asked to pay to use rooftop advised no need a superior room, which we was wanting to pay for but can’t because they upgraded people for free And then find out that there was a group of three people who were approached by the reception saying she had a surprise for them, guess what free upgrade to the roof terrace for rest of their hol Stag & hens are accepted even tough there was a sign on the entrance saying they are not Hotel tried to deny free upgrades given. very silly of them, do they not think people talk round the pool !!! Hotel did end up giving a free late check out, as there were none and was told only shower was the one around the pool, hence my complaint as that was the final straw Would not book here again, would book the delamar next door because there you have access to their roof top and can also use the flamingo facilities
