Gran Hotel Miramar GL

Stunning hotel made even better by the quality of staff in all aspects of the hotel from the amazing guest services to the always helpful staff on the door, nothing was too much trouble and i would highly recommend a stay at this lovely hotel.

We enjoyed our long weekend. . Good location at the beach and a great stroll through the parks to the old town, Pool area was very squashed- I wouldn't want to see that in peak season. Good breakfast. Probably not our usual kind of hotel- it's quite large, bit of a grande dame, traditional rather than contemporary- but good

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The location was fantastic and easy to get to everything we wanted to see on foot. The hotel is beautiful. Our sea view room had a lovely balcony. Stay we’re friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

It would be near impossible to overstate the quality of the team at the Miramar. From check in to departure everyone “went the extra mile”. In particular, I am extremely grateful to the night team and housekeeping for their kind and supportive assistance when my wife was unwell. The spa, though compact, is a lovely retreat and the massage I indulged in was excellent too. The concierge miraculously found a last minute reservation for us on our first night (a Saturday that happened to be Valentine’s Day - we discovered the “Malaga restaurant” we had booked was a 40 minute drive away!) and made an excellent local recommendation, El Refectorium, for our last. The building and grounds are delightfully grand and our rooms were very comfortable and impeccably clean. The beach front location just a short walk from the historical centre is ideal, with great views from the rooms and the excellent roof top bar. No hesitation recommending this fantastic hotel.

Everything was perfect. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful - every single person working there was a credit to the hotel. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever seen - the variety is amazing and the quality outstanding. The cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel from the lobby to the outside side areas is of a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble and we were sad to say goodbye this morning.

Some of the rooms are very bad. Got room 425. Look direct into a glas wall from the window. Dark, no daylight. Be shure that you do not get this inside rooms. We booked via Hotels.com. Proberly you get the bad rooms because of that. The hotel have to pay 20 pct in provision to Hotels.com and proberly give the bad rooms to the ones booking there.
