Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
General positive sentiment with some concerns about staffing levels.
Beautiful location surrounded by nature; a highlight of the stay.
Great pools and architecture, but some facilities were understaffed.
Overall satisfaction with a memorable experience, despite some critiques.
Rooms rated highly for comfort, but some issues with cleanliness noted.
Some guests felt the services and food prices were not high enough for the hotel rating.
“Definitely not a 5* experience”
Hotel architecture looks amazing, huge pool and that’s pretty much about the goods one.
Extreme bad smell in room 3028 and all over hotel, especially in the morning. all furniture soaked in moisture and you can not eliminate smell of mould. When we first checked in in our room bath was full of dirt and some hair. Staff doesn’t look professional, we have order a cocktails from their menu and barmen just disappear. We waited for another one and asked what happened his answer was that they don’t know how to do some cocktails. Drinks and all services are overpriced and does not meet the value.
“Really nice hotel, would defo recommend to anyone.”
The hotel was amazing, pool was really big and lots of space, breakfast was really good every morning, beds were really big and comfy, showers were really good,
The location of the hotel lets it down, not much to do at nights outside the hotel, we had a hire car so it was good, only 15 mins to nearest town for food at nites and things to do
“Disappointing”
Nice location, close to beach.
We were out in a room at the edge or the resort with very outdated decor (not like the photos) we tried to book a restaurant but the app didn’t work so we called and were told we’d need to come to the booking desk, after 15 minutes we were told the restaurants were fully booked for the duration of our stay,. On the first day I queued for a drink then was told as I was sitting at a table it was table service so to sit and wait for a drink, a waitress came by and asked if we had been served to which I answered no, she walked away so I assumed she’d be back but this could have been a translation issue so after 5 minutes I went back to the bar and asked if I could please order, the man agreed and after another 10 mins we were asked if he had our drinks before finally getting them. The whole stay felt tiring with no attention to guest experience, there’s no policy on sun-beds so towels go down first thing in the morning and it’s near impossible to get a bed even though they remain unused for most of the day. We stayed in a Meliá in Zanzibar and I loved it, the standards here aren’t comparable.
“A beautiful hotel with stunning fresh flower decorations. · Cons: There were a lot of families with small children; they were noisy in the evening in the restaurant and on the terraces.”

There were a lot of families with small children; they were noisy in the evening in the restaurant and on the terraces.
“My partner and I loved the experience in it's entirety. From the scenery, to the daily activities.”
Loved the scenery, ambience, and activities.
The buffet options weren't diverse enough.
“Cons: I recently stayed at Gran Meliá in Tenerife with high expectations — especially after paying €2,300 for the all-inclusive package and another €2,300 for the accommodation. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I anticipated. ❌ Major Issues: No towels at the pool: On our very first day, we went to the kids' pool and there were no towels available. My son had to return to the room wet and cold — not exactly a five-star experience. This wasn’t a one-time issue — lack of towels was a recurring problem throughout the stay. "All-Inclusive" is misleading and restrictive: At dinner, we were told the dish we selected wasn’t included in the all-inclusive plan — and we would need to pay extra. When I asked for two churros for dessert, I was told I could only have one per person. At the pool bar, we ordered a drink that also wasn’t included — and what we received was a watery, incorrect cocktail filled with ice. At one of the buffet dinners, my wife asked for a drink — only to be told she’d have to pay for it inside the restaurant, but could get the exact same drink for free if she walked 20 meters outside to the bar and brought it back in. Completely absurd. Poor staff attitude and service: The staff member responsible for handing out towels at the kids’ pool consistently looked angry and irritated, and refused to respond in English, even when I tried to communicate clearly. At the restaurant, a server couldn’t even confirm whether our wristbands or room number were registered as part of the all-inclusive plan. When I requested to cancel the all-inclusive on day 3 (since nothing I actually wanted was included), I was told a manager would contact me to discuss. Instead, I received a cold, dismissive phone call simply asking, “Can I confirm the cancellation of your all-inclusive?” A more helpful staff member later scheduled a meeting with another manager, but that meeting turned out to be a sales pitch for an €8,000 membership.”
