“Great hotel close to beach”

The best

Modern hotel, relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff. Great outdoor pool area, pleasant spa pools for all the family to enjoy and lovely children’s facilities with ‘mini club’ and trampoline/playground. Loved the smoothies and fruity pops at the pool bar - nice to have a healthier option. Great location so close to beach - which will Be accessible via the back of the property once the new promenade is completed.

To be improved

Food ok, a bit repetitive and not so tasty but good for a buffet Room (sea view) was nice but feel it needed to be a bit more plush to hit 5* standard

Rude staff No room service after 22h for a 5 stars it’s creasy If you don’t have coin impossible to get even water after 22:30 No bar nothing open after 22:30 just a machine which doesn’t accept credit cards In the morning they say that the bar to drink a coffee opens 8:30 9:15 nobody there and nobody knows Weird hotel

The outside of the hotel looks very grand, it was a very large resort hotel. the spa looked good although we did not use this facility.

To be improved

No reception concierge, or porter, being asked to wear a hotel wrist tag, was not expecting to have to wear a plastic tag in a 5* hotel ! only 1 bottle of water in room which was supposed to last the whole stay or alternately order one from reception at 18 euros per bottle! Breakfast did not offer enough choices for a 5* star hotel! it was like a self service cafe, not 1 waiting staff only clear up staff, on first morning no-one at entrance to greet customers and explain facilities (or lack of them). Sun beds thin and cheap, with towels that were similar, mine had large holes in them! and had only to have 1 each, important that we returned this 1 towel ticket at end of stay. Evening entertainment at 7.30pm delivered in French only! what about your other guests!! we have paid as much as everybody else! Obviously not your fault but disappointed that we had no access to beach.

All of the food was lovely just needed a little confirmation as to what to do regarding drinks.

To be improved

The ice cream freezer didn’t seem to work on the top shelf and ended up leaving the ice cream and 1 yoghurt didn’t look completely set.
